Chaos Marxism: A new aphorism

Capitalist media, like capitalist industry, specialises in massive overproduction of memes, which massively outlive their usefulness and even sometimes turn against their owners.

Embued Spaces - an Article at Foolish People

I have written a post for Foolish People entitled Embued Spaces: Technosigilic Approaches to Hypersaturation of Intent

here's the core of the idea I am intending to get across

WORDS are EATING your THOUGHTS. Words are that which devour the pure thought and the letters on a page, the text, is the shit words streak out behind in their passage. Words are no more thought than nails, hair, skin, and teeth are you. These shapes that can carry content across gaps through optic radiation, these letters and statements and paragraphs, they're an action that need only be observed to be complete, and by littering an area with this potential act of meaning, and then filling that same area with observers equipped to complete that meaningful act, observers who then become the space acted upon, you have created a microcosmic psychodrama beyond the grammar of the mundane, and in so doing to touch and manifest the pure thoughts unclothed by words.

U-M AD gets apology from Lou Holtz on 'Hitler' comment | Freep.com | Detroit Free Press

U-M AD gets apology from Lou Holtz on 'Hitler' comment | Freep.com | Detroit Free Press: "Holtz, now an ESPN college football analyst, made the comment during the network’s Friday night coverage. When it was mentioned that U-M needed leadership, he responded by saying that Adolph Hitler was a leader.

The remark quickly spread across the blogosphere and was mentioned to Martin this morning and he reached out.

Within a few hours, at halftime of the network’s Clemson-Georgia Tech game, Holtz was on the air apologizing."

"The wife U.S. Republican John McCain callously left behind" by Mary B. — mccain, obama, divorce | Gather: "Ross Perot, who paid her medical bills all those years ago, now believes that both Carol McCain and the American people have been taken in by a man who is unusually slick and cruel – even by the standards of modern politics"

23 Tools To Brainwash and Influence People Through Media | alterati:
"Every decade, every year, every week, those who control mass media change the climates of human thought. New pop stars, fashions, and fads are paraded center stage and then exit stage left followed by floods of expendable cash, leaving the path of sordid garbage known as “popular culture” in its wake.

Now the power to rule the world and wag the cultural dog is at your fingertips. What follows are simple instructions, a manual, a playbook of sorts, some simple behavioral tools to influence and take advantage of the nervous systems of all your peers"

» The Prisoner

» The Prisoner: "he Prisoner is an allegorical British 1960s science fiction television series starring and co-created by Patrick McGoohan. It follows a former British secret agent who, after abruptly resigning from his position, is held captive in a small village by the sea by an unidentified power that wishes to establish the reason for his resignation. Episodes typically feature the unnamed prisoner, labelled “Number Six” by his captors, unsuccessfully attempting to escape from “the Village“, but successfully resisting interrogation and attempts of brainwashing."
